Brian McCready has been Patch's regional manager for Connecticut's 76 hyperlocal sites since June 2014 where he leads a group of dedicated journalists who are committed to covering your local communities throughout the state.
Patch has dozens of local sites in Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford counties, and several sites in Middlesex, New London and Tolland counties. We also cover towns in Litchfield County.
Brian began his journalism career as a reporter for the Branford Review and Shoreline Times before moving onto the New Haven Register, where he initially worked as a reporter covering Milford and Amity schools and then all facets of local government. Brian was then named bureau chief and later became metro editor.
