I have been married to my husband, Michael, a forensic psychologist, for 28 years. We have a musically talented 17-year-old son, Ian, who attends Tampa Catholic High School. We've lived in Bloomingdale East for 16 years.

I'm a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism and have spent my entire professional career in journalism. I was the editor of The Brandon News for 18 years and worked as a general assignment reporter for the Tampa Tribune, covering everything from breaking news to photo features.

Brandon Radio Operators to Ham it Up This Weekend

The Brandon Amateur Radio Society is participating in a nationwide Field Day June 22-23 at Davis Park. The radio operators will use portable radios and antennas to simulate a deployment into a disaster scene.
