Hi! I am a Texas native who is thrilled to be your local Field Editor for Patch sites serving the communities of Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties, specifically Marietta, East Cobb, Smyrna-Vinings, Douglasville and Dallas-Hiram.

Prior to Patch, I worked for Community Impact Newspaper -- a hyperlocal, monthly print newspaper company based in Austin, Texas -- as a reporter in the Houston, Texas area. I spent nearly two years there before moving to Georgia in January 2020 to launch CIN's first newspaper in the state as the Editor-in-Chief. Additionally, I spent three years on staff -- two of those years as editor-in-chief -- at my university's student-run weekly newspaper, The Wichitan.
