Domestic Assault Charge Has Braves' Ozuna Retroactively Suspended
Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna has been retroactively suspended 20 games for a May 29 domestic incident at his Sandy Springs home.

I started my professional journalism career on a football field in Alaska, and every day since has been an adventure. I've covered dog sledding and commercial fishing in the Land of the Midnight Sun, civic duty and Civil Rights icons in the Windy City, courts and crime in Hotlanta and the Inauguration of our first Black President.
Time away from the news business has given me perspective to appreciate what I've always considered my calling. And focusing on local stories has always been my lens to open a broader view of our society and our country.
