Start the evening with the Duck Confit Carnitas with spiced chochoyote dumplings, kabocha, pepitas, mole verde and petite red cress. Dive into the main course with a 16oz Prime Ribeye, with mille-feuilles potatoes, roasted tomatoes, green peppercorn sauce and crispy shallots, and the option to add half spiny lobster tail with herb butter for the ultimate Surf ‘N Turf. End the night with sweet and decadent Chocolate Rocher, with hazelnut-chocolate mousse, grand marnier chocolate sauce. Enjoy a la carte or bundle all three together for a total of $90. Welcome the new year with a special evening at <a href="https://www.vistalsd.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Vistal</a>, where coastal cuisine and breathtaking views of the San Diego Bay meets at the InterContinental San Diego. This year, Vistal is offering a savory four-course meal priced at $167.30 per person with an optional wine pairing available for $55. Begin the night with an Amuse featuring Kaluga Reserve Caviar, crème fraiche, chives, blini and sea salt potato chips. Dive into the first course with a choice of the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Spiny Lobster Ravioli or Apple Salad. Savor the second course with a choice of the Double R Signature Filet Mignon, Maple leaf Duck Duo or U12 Diver Scallops. Save room for dessert and treat yourself to Chocolate Rocher made with praline mousse, hazelnuts, grand marnier chocolate sauce or The Raspberry raspberry mousse, meringue, white chocolate crème anglaise. Garibaldi, the rooftop coastal Mediterranean restaurant at InterContinental San Diego, continues its monthly culinary tour of the Mediterranean with a special Spain Dinner from Thursday, January 22 through Sunday, January 25. Executive Chef Franck Tasic presents a four-course prix fixe menu celebrating the flavors of Spain, featuring dishes like Gilda skewers, Pulpo a la Gallega, Tortilla Española with black truffle aioli, bacalao croquetas, rockfish “Pescado a la Sal,” and Iberico pork chop, plus Orange &amp; Saffron Crema Catalana for dessert, with an optional regional wine pairing available.
The Spain Dinner is $65 per person, with wine pairings for $35 per person, and is offered alongside Garibaldi’s full dinner menu. Reservations available on OpenTable.
