He was the Globe's High School Sports Editor and held same position at the Herald along with being the Assistant Sunday Sports Editor for two years. A Boston College graduate, his first journalism job was at Beacon Communications in Acton, Ma. After two years at the Beacon he came the sports layout editor at the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune before moving into Boston. He lives in Reading with his wife Nancy.
