  1. The Seventh Annual Utah Blues Festival is set to kick off tonight with local talent, then a legendary pre-show Thursday, before the weekend. The Gallivan Center will be the stage for several Billboard awardees and nominees as well as various workshops, instrumentalists, and so much more. With a legendary line-up set for the weekend and rumors of iconic Blues artists who will pop up this may be one of the largest shows yet to date.   2. This year in Salt Lake City CEO Conlon Bonnor is bringing the community together for a special Juneteenth musical performance. On Jun. 19, beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Murray Park Amphitheater, the Bonnor Family and special guest, Utah-based artist David Archuleta will take the stage. The event is to promote unity and build bridges as both the Bonnor Family and David Archuleta share these common ideals. Tickets can be found here. (ABC 4)
  3. The commitment of the Salt Lake City Mission to supporting those facing difficult times remains unwavering. Demonstrating this steadfast dedication, they have organized the Putting For Pencils charity golf tournament on Jul. 15 at Rose Park Golf Course. On Friday the mission will host a community Father's Day BBQ, further fostering a sense of togetherness.   • Kick off your Independence Day celebration with the Utah Symphony at the Deer Valley Music Festival on Jun. 30.   • REMINDER - For the month of June, the Salt Lake City Public Library along with the rest of the city will celebrate in unity for LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. The library will have several different family-friendly activities and resources as well as crafts, virtual storytimes, and much more education about the LGBTQIA+ community and building unity.
