- Two individuals, identified as 49-year-old Parth Gandhi and his 16-year-old son, were discovered deceased in an office building in Salt Lake City in what appears to be a murder-suicide, according to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department. The bodies were found after a 911 call reporting a body was made. Gandhi, a neuropsychologist and clinic director, is suspected of killing his son before taking his own life. The investigation is ongoing. (Salt Lake Tribune)
- Salt Lake City police officers Taylor Adair and Carson Jones have been cleared of any wrongdoing in the shooting of Peter Michael Larsen, who had pointed a shotgun at them after threatening firefighters.
