Here are the top three stories in Salt Lake City today:

  1. Pride flags are reportedly being stolen from homes and stores all across Salt Lake City. Last week three cases of theft were reported to the Salt Lake City Police Department. The Police are currently investigating these reports. (Salt Lake Tribune)
  2. A 79-year-old pedestrian was mugged during a morning walk in Salt Lake City. Robert Liehr, a 25-year-old man has been accused of mugging the man and stealing his money and credit cards. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. (ABC4.com)
  3. The body found in the Salt Lake City canal over the weekend has been identified as 22-year-old Tyler Svetich. Svetich's body was found in a section of the canal located west of Interstate 215, south of its intersection with Interstate 80. Interstate 80 provides access to the Salt Lake City International Airport, running east and west. The Salt Lake City Police Department saw no signs of injury on the man's body but continues investigating his death. (KSLTV)
