Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:

1. The Burlington Police Department has arrested a man for stealing a U-Haul truck while impersonating an employee. Anthony Adalio, 32, was eventually caught by the department while operating the vehicle on St. Paul Street. He is now facing serval charges related to the incident. (WCAX)
2. A man is facing charges after escaping from his room at UVM Medical Center. Donald Fickett was apprehended in a parking lot on Wednesday night after violating curfew. He is being held in jail for resisting arrest, an escape attempt, and violating conditions of release charges. (WCAX)
3. Burlington teachers are reportedly struggling to purchase homes in the competitive housing market. The driving force behind the struggle is a 22.9 percent increase in Burlington home prices coupled with an average rental increase of $100. Some teachers are even switching careers or moving from Burlington due to the housing market. (BHS Register)
