Hospice Contract Negotiations Continue at UVM Health Network (mychamplainvalley.com) — Hospice workers at UVM Home Health and Hospice in Burlington say key contract issues like staffing, pay equity, and safety remain unresolved six months after unionizing. More than 100 employees are seeking better compensation and a stronger voice in decisions as demand for hospice care grows, with negotiations set to resume in January.
   

2. 500,000+ New Englanders expected to fly for the holidays (mynbc5.com) — Holiday air travel is surging through Burlington International Airport, with hundreds of passengers already navigating long security lines and baggage waits as they arrive in Vermont. Vt. families worry Medicaid changes will cut autism therapy coverage (wcax.com) — Families in Burlington and across Vermont are scrambling to respond to looming Medicaid rule changes that could sharply limit coverage for autism therapy, especially Applied Behavior Analysis. Parents, providers, and advocates warn the adjustments to telehealth, provider eligibility, and billing could reduce access or quality of care, while state officials say the revisions are needed to preserve the benefit and meet federal rules.

UVM introduces Adrian Dubois as new men's soccer coach (wcax.com) — UVM has officially welcomed back Adrian Dubois to Burlington as the new head coach of the men’s soccer team, following his stint at San Diego State.
