Shooting Injures 1 In Alexandria, No Arrest Announced

One person was injured in a shooting late Friday, according to Alexandria Police. Police had responded Friday night to the 2800 block of Telek Place. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 54-year-old Maryland who was convicted in July of punching a gate agent at Washington Dulles International Airport has been sentenced, according to court documents. Christopher Stuart Crittenden of Frederick, Maryland was in court Thursday.

A truck driver died in a fatal crash in the Manassas area early Sunday, according to Prince William County Police. The 2022 Mack Anthem truck veered off Prince William Parkway and struck a guardrail.

The suspensions of two male students at Loudoun County Public Schools are paused amid the continuing court case over their boys' locker room encounter with a transgender student.
