$10K Grant To Fund Nonprofit's Afterschool STEM Clubhouse For Girls
KFC Foundation recently awarded a $10,000 grant to Boolean Girl, a nonprofit that promotes STEM education and classes for girls.

ARLINGTON, VA — Boolean Girl, which has programs in Alexandria, Arlington and Montgomery County in Maryland, recently received a $10,000 grant from the KFC Foundation, as part of its Kentucky Fried Wishes program.
Boolean Girl is a local nonprofit that promotes STEM education for girls in an inclusive and welcoming environment. The KFC Foundation grant will go toward the purchase of new laptops for Boolean's afterschool programs.
Currently, girls 7 and older can enroll in one of Boolean Girl's summer camps, where they will learn computer science and engineering fundamentals by working on unique projects and overcoming hands-on challenges. In addition, Arlington families may be eligible for financial assistance via the county's fee reduction program.

KFC Foundation receives financial support from Round Up fundraising at KFC restaurants, as well as voluntary donations from KFC franchisees, who chose to contribute a portion of restaurant sales of Secret Recipe Fries.
Since its founding in 2021, the KFC Wishes program has donated more than $1.8 million to over 180 local nonprofit organizations.
