2 Seriously Injured, Including Child, In Arlington Stabbing: Police
The suspect is in custody after two people, including a child, were seriously injured in a stabbing in Arlington on Saturday, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — Two people, including a child, were injured in a stabbing in the 900 block of Army Navy Drive, the Arlington County Police Department wrote in a post to X, formerly Twitter, Saturday around 10:20 p.m.
The stabbing happened around 9:45 p.m. near the Target in Pentagon City, WJLA said.

The victims were a woman and an infant who were critically injured in the stabbing, ARL Now reported. They were brought to area hospitals after the incident.
Another young child who was with them during the incident was uninjured, reports said.

The suspect, who knows the victims, is in custody after running from the scene on foot, police said.
He was found in a nearby parking garage, according to reports.
