2 Vehicles Stolen In Arlington Found In Alexandria: Police

Two vehicles were stolen Friday night in Arlington and the same suspects tried to steal a third vehicle, according to police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Two vehicles were stolen Friday night in Arlington and the same suspects tried to steal a third vehicle, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Between about 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 4:23 a.m. on Saturday, the two suspects broke the rear windows, tampered with the ignition and stole two vehicles: one in the 1900 block of Key Boulevard in the Courthouse area and the other in the 2100 block of N. Monroe Street in Cherrydale, according to police.

The same suspects tried to steal a third vehicle in the 3000 block of Spout Run Parkway near the Lyon Village shopping center, police said.

The two stolen vehicles were later found and recovered in the City of Alexandria. No items were reported stolen from inside the vehicles, according to police.

Police described the two suspects as Black males wearing facial coverings.
