2 Women Assaulted, Robbed Arlington Woman Inside Her Home: ACPD

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police have obtained arrest warrants for one of two women they say choked and robbed another woman in her Penrose home on Tuesday night, according to authorities.

Officers responded around 11:27 p.m. for the report of a dispute in the 2700 block of 8th Street South. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was inside her residence when two women she knew assaulted her, according to police.

Before leaving, the two suspects took the victim’s wallet, which contained her ID and an undisclosed amount of money, according to ACPD. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the dispute.

Investigators obtained warrants for robbery and strangulation for one of the suspects in this case. ACPD did not identify the suspects nor released information about whether warrants had been obtained against the second suspect.
