Police Say 3 Teens Assaulted An Employee During A Robbery At An Arlington Heights Store

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are trying to identify three juvenile suspects they say robbed an Arlington Heights store on Friday and assaulted an employee, according to authorities.

Officers were dispatched around 5:20 p.m. to the 200 block of South Glebe Road for the report of an assault. A preliminary investigation determined that three male teens entered the business and concealed merchandise, according to the incident report. When one of the suspects tried to exit the store without paying, an employee confronted him and a physical altercation ensued.

The teen suspect struck the employee during the scuffle, which was joined by a second teen suspect, according to police. As the altercation continued, the third suspect left the store with merchandise he hadn’t paid for. All three suspects fled on foot.

The officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. No injuries from the fight were reported.

  • Suspect One was described as a juvenile white male, approximately 14-17 years old, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 140 pounds, 5’7”, 140 pounds with brown hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
  • Suspect Two was described as a juvenile Hispanic male, approximately 14-17 years old, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing 140 pounds, with black hair. He was wearing all black clothing and a face covering.
  • Suspect Three was described as a juvenile Black male, approximately 14-17 years old, standing 5-foot-6, and weighing 140 pounds, with black hair. He was wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
