31st Annual Rosslyn Jazz Festival Returns For Day Of Music And Food
The 31st annual Rosslyn Jazz Fest is coming to Gateway Park in Arlington on Saturday, with music, food trucks and games.
ARLINGTON, VA — The 31st annual Rosslyn Jazz Fest is returning to Gateway Park for a day of music, food trucks and games.
Sponsored by the Rosslyn BID and Arlington Arts, the free music festival on Saturday will include performances by Galactic, featuring Angelika “Jelly” Joseph; Pedrito Martínez Group; Oh He Dead; and DuPont Brass.
This year’s artists bring together an eclectic blend of soul, funk, R&B, and hip hop, with roots in conventional jazz expression, offering an array of music for every attendee to enjoy.

“From the Afro-Cuban jazz throughline of Pedrito Martínez, to Galactic’s fresh take on the musical mash-up of New Orleans traditions, to the soulful Oh He Dead, this year’s high-energy mix of genres will keep audiences on their feet,” said Josh Stoltzfus, deputy director of Arlington County’s Cultural Affairs Division.
Jazz Fest is free and registration is not required, but encouraged. The public can also check out the online store for official Jazz Fest t-shirts, sweatshirts and other merchandise.

The festival will take place from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Gateway Park, 1300 Langston Blvd. in Arlington.
The Arlington County Police Department will conduct the following road closures from about 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday to accommodate the event:
- Eastbound Langston Boulevard from Fort Myer Drive to N. Moore Street
- Fort Myer Drive access road from 19th Street N. to N. Moore Street
The Rosslyn Metro Station (Orange, Silver, and Blue lines) is located within walking distance to the event. Street parking in the area will be restricted and motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs.
