Third Gold For Arlington Olympian Torri Huske At 2024 Paris Games

NANTERRE, FRANCE — Arlington's Torri Huske snagged her third gold medal of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as a member of the world record-setting Mixed 4x100m Medley Relay team on Sunday.
Huske (freestyle), along with teammates Regan Smith (backstroke), Lilly King (breaststroke), and Gretchen Walsh (butterfly) clocked a time of 3 minutes, 49.63 seconds to break the record of 3:50.40 set by the U.S. at the 2019 world championships, according to the Associated Press. They edged out the Australian team, which scored a silver medal with a time of 3:53:11.
Huske has been one of the star swimmers for Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games, bringing home a total of five medals:

The 21-year-old's stellar performance helped Team USA capture the Olympic swimming crown with a total of 28 medals. That was enough to outdistance second-place Australia, which finished with 18 medals.

"It’s great to come out on top of the gold medals and the overall medal standings,” said Team USA women’s coach Todd DeSorbo of the University of Virginia, according to the Washington Post. “A lot of ups and downs but a great meet overall.”
Before Huske was a member of Stanford University's swimming team, she competed as a member of the Arlington Aquatic Club.
