Amazon HQ2 Spreads Holiday Cheer With Family-Friendly Activities
Museum of Contemporary Art's Innovation Studio and The Lodge at National Landing offer seasonal activities for families in December.
ARLINGTON, VA — With the holiday season officially underway, Amazon HQ2 has planned the following family-friendly events and activities to spread holiday cheer.
MoCA Handcrafted Holidays – Every Wednesday through Dec. 20, from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m., get into the holiday spirit by creating unique, handmade gifts at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Innovation Studio. Crafts and dates include:
- Dec. 4: Bottle Cap Ornaments Led by artist, Margaret Jacobson.
- Dec. 11: Festive Candle Decoration
- Dec. 18: Super-Size Snowflakes
The Lodge at National Landing brought to you by Amazon - Saturday, Dec. 7, from 1-7 p.m.
Step into a winter wonderland at Metropolitan Park’s ski-inspired festival, The Lodge. Celebrate the season with cozy vibes, warm drinks, and plenty of activities for all ages.

Plants in the Park - Wednesday, Dec. 11, 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Roll up your sleeves and get into the holiday spirit at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s winter edition of Plants in the Park. Participants will create their own plant and craft project, perfect for holiday décor or gifts.
