Arlington 18-Year-Old Charged In Stabbing On Columbia Pike: Police

Arlington County police arrested an 18-year-old man on Thursday in connection with a stabbing that occurred in December on Columbia Pike.

Kamron Tartt, 18, of Arlington was taken into custody last Thursday and charged with malicious wounding by mob, conspiracy to commit a felony and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with a stabbing that occurred in December on Columbia Pike.

Kamron Tartt of Arlington was taken into custody on Jan. 18 and charged with malicious wounding by mob, conspiracy to commit a felony, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police said. He is being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on Dec. 15, police were dispatched to the 5100 block of Columbia Pike for the report of a stabbing.

When they arrived, police found an adult male suffering from a stabbing. Officers canvassed the area and found another adult male in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street and a juvenile male in the 5000 block of 8th Road S. also suffering from stab wounds.

Medics responded, and all three patients were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries. At the time they were taken to the hospital, the three males were in stable condition and their injuries were not considered non-life threatening, police said.

Police said a fight broke out between five people, who were known to each other, in a stairwell inside a residential building in the 5100 block of Columbia Pike. Police recovered a knife in their investigation.
