ARLINGTON, VA -- The next time someone asks for "Angela" at a number of Arlington bars, the staff will spring into action -- even if there's no one there by that name.

That's because local bars are participating in the "Ask for Angela" campaign, which offers patrons a safe and discreet way to ask for help if they're feeling uncomfortable, according to a WTOP report.

If a patron approaches staff and asks for Angela, they will know that the person needs a ride home, or perhaps police assistance.
