Arlington County Holds Environmental Collection & Recycling Event

Arlington County will hold its biannual Environmental Collection and Recycling Event (E-CARE) on Saturday, September 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, 125 S. Old Glebe Rd. E-CARE is an event where residents can safely dispose of hazardous household materials (HHM), recycle bikes, small metal items, shoes, clothing and much more! And here’s a bright idea: swap your old CFL lightbulb for a new LED bulb (one per household, while supplies last).
