Arlington Election Results: Karantonis, Kadera Win Board Races
With nearly all the votes counted, Takis P Karantonis and Mary Kadera were declared winners in Arlington just before midnight by WTOP.

ARLINGTON, VA — Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Takis P Karantonis was declared the unofficial winner for the open seat on the Arlington County Board, according to WTOP.
With 56 of 57 precincts reporting, Karantonis had 50,286 (60.11%) votes compared to Audrey R. Clement's 15,341 (18.34%), Adam Theo's 4,734 (5.66%) and Michael T. Cantwell's 11,568 (13.83%).

In the School Board race, WTOP declared Democratic Party-endorsed Mary B. Kadera the winner. With 56 of 57 precincts, Kadera had 61,072 (77.26%) votes compared to her opponent Major M. Webb's 15,819 (19.83%) votes.
Most of the attention Tuesday night was on the statewide races for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general. It turned out to be a sweep for Republican candidates, with Glenn A.Youngkin, Winsome E. Sears and Jason S. Miyares, winning the governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general races, respectively.

Arlington voters are represented in the Virginia General Assembly by delegates from the 45th, 46th, 47th and 48th districts, which meant there were four separate ballots in the county on Tuesday.
Shortly before 11 a.m., the Associated Press declared all four Democrats running in Arlington's House of Delegates' races the unofficial winners.
Unofficial Results from the Virginia Department of Elections (Nov. 3, 11 a.m.) The final results for all races will be officially certified on Nov. 15.
