Arlington Makes Decision On Monday School Schedule

With icy roads expected Monday morning, local schools have made a decision on the school schedule tomorrow.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Arlington County school officials have decided to open two hours late on Monday over concerns about dangerous road conditions due to ice.

Arlington County Public Schools tweeted Sunday evening that all schools and offices would open two hours late due to "the current weather forecast and possible icing conditions for tomorrow morning." The Extended Day program will also open two hours late.

Schools were delayed twice in late January due to snow and cold.
