Patrick Hope Wins House Of Delegates Race In District 1: Unofficial Results

Arlington County's three members of the Virginia House of Delegates were reelected, according to unofficial results.

ARLINGTON, VA — With all the precincts reporting, Del. Patrick Hope (D) was reelected to the Virginia House of Delegates in District 1. He defeated Republican challenger Bill Moher 16,292 to 4,679, according to unofficial results from the Virginia Department of Elections.

In Arlington's two other delegate races, Del. Adele McClure (D-2nd) defeated Republican challenger Wendy Sigley, according to unofficial results. Del. Alfonso H. Lopez (D-13th) ran unopposed, garnering 12,113 (95.41%) of the votes cast, according to unofficial results.

Voters cast ballots for at-large members for both the school board and Arlington County Board.

This year, voters used ranked choice voting to determine who would win the open at-large seat on the Arlington County Board.

At the end of Round 1, with 54 of 54 precincts reporting, incumbent Takis Karantonis (D) had garnered 61 percent of the votes, according to unofficial results
