Bank Robbery Goes Wrong In Arlington: Police
Police are investigating after a man passed an Arlington bank teller a note demanding money, but left empty-handed.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are investigating a failed bank robbery on Columbia Pike in Arlington on Monday.
The suspected entered a bank in the 3500 block of Columbia Pike at around 2:15 p.m. and then passed the teller a note demanding money, displaying a firearm, Arlington County Police tweeted.
The suspect fled the scene without any money. Police described him as a "black male wearing a construction hat and dark clothing."

POLICE ACTIVITY: ACPD is investigating an attempted bank robbery in the 3500 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 2:15 PM an unknown suspect entered the bank, passed the teller a note demanding money and displayed a firearm before fleeing the scene without any money.
