Bomb Threat, Assault On Police Charges Levied Against Arlington Man
A 47-year-old Arlington man who police say threatened to bomb an Arlington Village business on Friday morning faces multiple charges.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 47-year-old Arlington man is facing multiple charges, including threatening to bomb a building, in connection with an incident that occurred Friday morning in the Arlington Village area, according to police.
An officer responded around 7:14 a.m. to the 3000 block of Columbia Pike for the report of a man acting disorderly inside a business. The officer located the suspect who appeared to be under the influence.
When the officer tried to get the man to sit down, he became irate and grabbed the officer, according to police. Despite the suspect resisting arrest, the officer was eventually able to take him into custody.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect, whom police identified as Brian Morgan of Arlington, threatened an employee that he was going to bomb the building, accoring to authorities.
ACPD arrested Morgan, charging him with assault on police, making threats to bomb a building, obstruction of justice and public intoxication. He was held without bond.
