ARLINGTON, VA -- Someone broke into a residence in Rosslyn and escaped with the victim's wallet, police say.

Police were called to the 1500 block of 22nd Street N at around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday to a report of a burglary alarm, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

Police found a residence with signs of forced entry and established a perimeter as they searched for a suspect, but they were not able to find anyone.

The victim's wallet was reported stolen, and the suspect was described as a "tall white male with a skinny build and brown hair."
