Carjacking Suspects Steal Car In Arlington, Abandon It In DC: Police
Arlington County police are investigating a carjacking where two suspects armed with a gun stole a car near the Lyon Village neighborhood.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Saturday night near the Lyon Village neighborhood.
At about 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, police were dispatched to the 2000 block of N. Adams Street in Arlington for the report of an armed robbery. Two victims were getting out of their car when two males approached them, brandished a gun, and stole the keys to the vehicle and two cell phones, according to police.
The two suspects fled the scene in the stolen vehicle and were followed by a suspect driving a dark-colored sedan, police said.

The victims’ vehicle was later found unoccupied in Washington, D.C., and the suspects’ vehicle, which was determined to have been stolen, was found unoccupied on the George Washington Parkway, according to police.
The suspects are described as Black males, about 20 years old, wearing puffy jackets and face masks, police said.
