The Commentary Joins Aslin Brewing In Craft Brew Dinner Series

ARLINGTON, VA — The Commentary Social House in Arlington is hosting the third event of its Craft Brew Dinner Series in March in partnership with Aslin Brewing.

At the Thursday, March 16 event, guests will once again get to enjoy their favorite beer and seasonal dishes while receiving expert tips on how to pair delicious craft beers with their next meal.

A portion of Craft Brew Dinners proceeds will be donated to Save the Children. Executive Chef Francecil Ponte is collaborating with Aslin Brewing to pair their seasonal and specialty brews with a five-course menu. Some of the beers for the dinner include Aslin's new IPA Clear Nights West Coast IPA and two limited-time one-offs.

The first event of the series took place in January in partnership with Port City Brewing, followed by the February event in partnership with Solace Brewing.

The March 16 Craft Brew Dinner will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visit the online invitation to purchase tickets to the dinner. The cost will be $75 for each dinner.

Pan Seared Scallops

Bacon cream sauce, roasted leeks, crispy onions

Bear pairing: No backsies hefeweizen

2 COURSE

Grilled Little Gem Salad

Watermelon radish, honey glazed walnuts, feta cheese, pancetta, green goddess dressing

Beer pairing: Power Moves hazy ipa

3 COURSE

Stuffed Chicken Roulade

Chorizo, spinach, Manchego, roasted Romanesco, potato cakes

Beer Pairing: Clear Nights West Coast IPA

4 COURSE

Braised short ribs

Asparagus, goat cheese polenta, mushrooms, red wine reduction

Beer pairing: Triple Orange Starfish imperial ipa

5 COURSE

Crème Brulee cheesecake

Macerate berries, white chocolate shavings

Beer pairing: Totally Cannon sour
