Craft Beer Dinner Series Coming To The Commentary Social House

ARLINGTON, VA — The Commentary Social House in Arlington is launching a Craft Beer Dinner Series this month in partnership with Port City Brewing of Alexandria.

At the Thursday, Jan. 19 event, guests will get to enjoy their favorite beer and seasonal dishes while receiving expert tips on how to pair craft beers with their next meal. Executive Chef Francecil Ponte has developed a five-course menu that will go nicely with Port City Brewing’s seasonal and specialty brews.

The dinner, the first in a series of dinners that The Commentary Social House will be hosting with breweries, will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Jan. 19. A portion of proceeds from the Craft Beer Dinners will be donated to Save the Children.

The next Craft Beer Dinner at The Commentary Social House, at 801 N. Glebe Road in the Ballston neighborhood, will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16 with Solace Brewing. There will be a different five-course pre-fixe menu for each event, and the cost will be $75 for each dinner.
