DC to host first FIFA Club World Cup™ match in under 100 Days

Washington, DC will host five teams from around the world as part of this all new global competition

In just under 100 days, DC will host the first of three global soccer matches at Audi Field for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Throughout June, teams from five countries will play at Audi Field as they vie for a slice of global club football history on US soil:

  • June 18: The UAE’s Al Ain FC takes on Italian Juventus FC
  • June 22: Austrian FC Salzburg plays Saudi Pro League’s Al Hilal
  • June 26: Moroccan Wydad AC goes head to head with Al Ain FC

“Featuring 32 clubs and 63 matches in 12 top-notch stadiums, the FIFA Club World Cup 25 will redefine – completely redefine – how, when and where the true club world champion is crowned,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

“Unlike the FIFA World Cup in [20]26, where players from 48 nations will be on show, the FIFA Club World Cup is open to players from every nation on earth. As a matter of fact, players of 82 different nationalities could take part in the tournament. So, 82 countries worldwide will follow the FIFA Club World Cup. This is the start of something truly special, of something historic, and there is actually no better place for the dream of the world's best soccer clubs and the world's best soccer players to come alive than in the United States of America.”

Tickets for all 63 tournament matches are currently on sale at FIFA.com/tickets, with hospitality packages now on sale at FIFA.com/hospitality. The full low-down on the competition, including the group line-ups, the match schedule, trophy insights and club profiles, is available at FIFA.com.
