Driver Dies After Suffering Medical Emergency On Langston Blvd: Police
A man who suffered an apparent medical emergency died Friday after he collided with another vehicle on Langston Boulevard in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man who suffered an apparent medical emergency died Friday afternoon after he collided with another vehicle on Langston Boulevard, near the intersection with N. Harrison Street in Arlington, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
The 84-year-old man, who was driving east on Langston Boulevard shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday, suffered the medical emergency before crossing over into the westbound lanes of Langston Boulevard adjacent to the parking lot at the Harris Teeter grocery store, according to police.
The man struck another vehicle in the westbound lanes. Nobody in the other vehicle was injured, police said.

Medics performed lifesaving measures before transporting the 84-year-old man to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, according to police.
