Early Voting For Nov. 4 Election In Arlington: What To Know
Arlington voters can cast early ballots in the Nov. 4 general election and vote by mail Sept. 19 through Nov. 1.

ARLINGTON, VA — In-person voting and in the Nov. 4 general election begins on Friday, Sept 19, which is also when the first vote by mail ballots will sent out.
Virginia voters will cast ballots for candidates running for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general.

How To Vote Early
Arlington voters can cast early ballots in the Nov. 4 general election Sept. 19 through Nov. 1 at the following locations:
- Courthouse Plaza 2100 Clarendon Blvd., Suite 320. Hours: Sept. 19-Oct. 31, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 26, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Extended hours: Oct. 21-Oct 28-30, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thurday, 8 a.m.7 p.m.
- Madison Community Center, 3829 North Stafford St. Hours: Oct. 21, 22 and 28-30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurday, 2-7 p.m.; Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Oct. 26, Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m..
- Walter Reed Community Center, 2909 16th St. South. Hours: Oct. 21, 22 and 28-30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurday, 2-7 p.m.; Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Oct. 26, Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m..
An acceptable form of ID is required to vote in person.
Visit the Citizen Portal on the Virginia Department of Elections website or the Arlington Voter Registrations & Elections to check your registration status, register to vote and apply to vote absentee by mail.
The deadline for registering or updating your registration in person is 5 p.m. on Oct. 24; online by 11:59 p.m.; or postmarked on or before the deadline.
You can apply to have a ballot mailed to you through 5 p.m. on Oct. 24. Your request must be received by your local registrar's office by 5 p.m.
Completed mail-in ballots be turned in at 24-hour drop boxes at the following locations:

- Arlington Mill Community Center, 909 South Dinwiddie St.
- Central Library, 1015 North Quincy St.
- Langston-Brown Community Center, 2121 North Culpeper St.
- Madison Community Center, 3829 North Stafford St.
- Shirlington Library, 4200 Campbell Ave.
- Westover Library, 1644 North McKinley Road
To vote on Election Day, visit your assigned polling place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Voters may register and vote using a provisional ballot in-person after Oct. 24 through Election Day.
