Popular Filipino Bakery To Open First Location In Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA — Gwenie’s Pastries, a family-owned bakery specializing in Filipino desserts, will be opening a new location in Pentagon City in May, according to reports.

Based in Rockville, Maryland, Gwenie’s Pastries has been serving the DMV for more than 15 years. The new bakery will be located at 550 14th St. South in Arlington, according Northern Virginia Magazine.

This will be the sixth location in Virginia where customers can purchase Gwenie’s treats. The other locations are the Filipino Global Supermarket in Falls Church, Manila Oriental in Springfield, Kababayan Filipino Gourmet in Woodbridge, Kucina Filipino Restaurant and Gourmet in Fredericksburg, and Pinoy Market and Cafe in Manassas. Pastries can also be ordered via Amazon.
