ARLINGTON, VA -- Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out Tuesday morning in a building that was being renovated as part of the Market Common Clarendon development across the street from Whole Foods.

Units were called to the 2700 block of Wilson Boulevard at around 8:42 a.m. to a report of a structure fire, and found the exterior of a building under renovation on fire, the Arlington County Fire Department tweeted.

Workers on the scene were able to knock the flames down and units checked for extension. No injuries were reported.
