Fire Works Pizza Hosting Blood Drive In Arlington's Courthouse Area
Fire Works American Pizzeria and Bar is partnering with Inova Blood Donor Services on a blood drive on Monday, April 3 in Arlington.
ARLINGTON, VA — Fire Works American Pizzeria and Bar is partnering with Inova Blood Donor Services on a blood drive on Monday, April 3 in the Courthouse area of Arlington.
Even as COVID-19 emergency declarations get lifted, Northern Virginia continues to face a shortage of blood products for patients across the region.
For the blood drive, an Inova Blood Donor Services Bloodmobile will be parked in front of Fire Works Pizza, near Clarendon Boulevard and North Adams Street, on Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The public can visit the Inova Blood Donor Services website to schedule an appointment, or call 1-866-BLOODSAVES (1-866-256-6372) and use Sponsor Code 8629. Blood donors also can contact Jessica Willis-Schnitz at jessica.willis@inova.org with questions about the blood drive.
The bloodmobile location, located at the base of the Residence Inn by Marriott/Arlington Courthouse, is within walking distance of the nearby Courthouse Metro Station.

A photo ID is required of all blood donors. Also, the public should wear a face covering and allow up to one hour for donor visits.
Donors will receive $5 off any menu item from Fire Works Pizza.
Located at 2350 Clarendon Blvd., Fire Works Pizza is part of the Tuskie’s Restaurant Group. The restaurant, which opened in 2010, is a long-time partner of Inova Blood Donor Services.
