ARLINGTON, VA — Gunston Middle School in Arlington was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon after a “written threat” of gun violence was found at the school, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Shortly after 1 p.m., police were dispatched to the school, at 2700 S. Lang Street, after administrators found a message written inside a restroom stall referencing gun violence. Prior to police officers arriving, the school was placed on lockdown, police said.
