A summer-like warm-up is on its way to the D.C. area for the weekend, but will the mild temperatures stick around for trick-or-treaters?

Records will be challenged across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic over the coming days, according to AccuWeather. Even places like Baltimore will experience record-challenging temperatures from Thursday to Saturday, forecasters said.

Temperatures will quickly return to the seasonal norm in the Mid-Atlantic, however. Forecasters with AccuWeather say that a cold front early next week will bring a "notable drop" in temperatures.
