ARLINGTON, VA —For four years, Maison Cheryl, a French-American bistro in Clarendon, has been serving from a curated seasonal menu that features high quality ingredients and dishes that are combination of traditional and new fun flavors, according to Chef Robert Maher, restaurant's owner.

"It is elegant enough for celebrations and date nights and casual enough for friends wanting to catch up over a glass of wine," he said. "Our specialty is French food with a modern twist. A great example is our seared duck breast which is perfectly cooked and blends traditional flavors with new techniques such as blood orange gastrique and a savory bread pudding."

From Oct. 13 to 20, Maison Cheryl will be joining more than 70 restaurants that are offering special deals for guests as part of Arlington Restaurant Week. Guests will be able to enjoy four courses for $55 plus bottles of wine will be discounted 10 percent.

"The community is really what makes Arlington special. Being in the heart of Clarendon allows us to cater to those who have an affinity for French cooking as well as those who are trying new things, like escargot, for the first time," Maher said.
