ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are investigating an odd breaking and entering situation when a man got into an Arlington apartment building overnight, but simply stayed in the lounge for a little while and then left, police say.

Police were called to the 1900 block of S. Eads Street on Tuesday morning to a report of a breaking and entering, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

Police determined that just before 3 a.m., an unknown man "gained entry to the lounge of an apartment building, where he stayed until approximately 5:20 a.m. when he left the building prior to police notification," the report states.
