Man Charged With Hitting Females On The Buttocks In Arlington: Police

A man accused of hitting two females on the buttocks was arrested Sunday in Arlington's Courthouse area and charged with sexual battery.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man accused of hitting two females on the buttocks was arrested Sunday night in the Courthouse area of Arlington and charged with two counts of sexual battery, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The man, Emanuel Alston, 22, of no fixed address, was held in the Arlington jail without bail, police said.

One of the female victims told police that around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday she was walking her dog near the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N. Courthouse Road when a man hit her on the buttocks before fleeing the scene.

While investigating the incident, police learned about a second female victim who was approached by the same suspect in the area of Wilson Boulevard and N. Troy Street. The suspect hit her on the buttocks and fled the scene, according to police.

Officers found the suspect in the area and took him into custody without incident, police said.
