Man Exposes Himself, Then Robs Woman In Arlington: Police

Police say a man exposed himself to a woman and then stole her stuff in Arlington over the weekend.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are looking for a suspect after a man first exposed himself to a woman in Arlington, and then stole her belongings.

Police were called to the 800 block of N. Lexington Street at around 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 16 to a report of a larceny and exposure, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"[T]he female victim was sitting on a bench when the unknown suspect approached her from behind and asked for directions," the report states. "As she turned, she observed the suspect exposing himself before he grabbed her personal belongings and fled the scene on foot."

Police described the suspect as follows: "Hispanic male, 18 – 20 years of age, 5’2” – 5’4”, 130 – 150 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie, green shirt and burgundy shorts at the time of the incident."
