ARLINGTON, VA — A man is under arrest after police say he walked up to a woman stopped at a red light in Arlington and exposed himself.

Police were called to the intersection of S. Glebe Road and Columbia Pike at around 2:22 a.m. on July 19 to a report of an indecent exposure, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"[T]he victim was in her vehicle at a traffic light when the unknown male suspect allegedly approached her vehicle and exposed himself," the report states. "Arriving officers located the suspect nearby and he was taken into custody."

Police charged 39-year-old David Nichols of Arlington with indecent exposure, drunk in public, and failure to ID. He is being held without bond.
