ARLINGTON, VA -- A huge supercell formed early Monday morning and rolled into Arlington, dropping record-setting amounts of rain and causing widespread flooding throughout the county.
Rain totals reached as high as six inches, with more than three inches falling in the span of an hour at Reagan National Airport. It resulted in intense flooding that left many homeless and damaged businesses. In the hard-hit Westover neighborhood, many businesses are still closed.
It all added up to some remarkable videos and photos shared on social media, and we've compiled the most awe-inspiring of them below.
