Mother’s Day In Arlington: Local Eateries Taking Reservations Now

ARLINGTON, VA —Mother's Day is almost here, and it's time to show the mom in your life how much you care by making special plans ahead of schedule. Whether you call a restaurant directly or make a reservation online, sooner is better than later for the busiest brunch day of the year.

Ambar Clarendon at 2901 Wilson Blvd. will be offering a fixed price brunch menu of unlimited small plates from its Balkan without limits Brunch Experience with a variety of specials this Mother’s Day. Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat selection of mezze, soups, salads, sliders, egg dishes, pastry, crepes, and sweets. Unlimited Brunch must be ordered by the entire table.

Specials include the Ham & Cheese Crêpes; Catfish Slider with pickled cucumber and Maple Prune French Toast with mascarpone and pecan crumble.

Brunch at Ambar Clarendon will be served from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is priced at $47.99 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Brunch drinks at Ambar Clarendon are priced at 99 cents each. There is a two-hour time limit for all parties.

At Big Buns in Ballston (4401 Wilson Blvd.) and Shirlington (4251 Campbell Ave.), mothers will receive $5 off their purchase on Sunday, May 11.This special discount is available for in-store visits only.

Mothers will also be able to order Mother's Day Strawberry Margaritas at Big Buns, blending Jose Cuervo Silver, orange liqueur, strawberry, and the restaurant’s signature house margarita mix.

Matchbox at 1100 South Hayes St, Suite H20, in Pentagon City will be offering a specially curated prix-fixe, three-course dinner menu this Mother’s Day. Wine pairings include Acrobat Pinot Gris, Trinity Oaks Chardonnay, and Ruffino Prosecco.

Makers Union at 450 South Eads St, Suite 65, is hosting a special Princess Brunch on Saturday, May 10 in honor of Mother’s Day. Families are welcome to indulge in Makers Union’s brunch and receive free pictures, partake in crafts, and fun activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
