Multiple Cars Broken Into In Arlington: Police

Multiple unlocked cars were broken into and one car was stolen, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — Multiple unlocked cars were broken into on various Arlington streets Thursday and Friday morning, police said, and signs of tampering were apparent in most of the vehicles. One car of an estimated four total was reported stolen and contents from inside the car were located in the area.

The break-ins happened between 10:10 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday. The cars were in 5900 block of 35th Street N., 6500 block of 36th Street N., 6500 block of 28th Street N. and 3500 block of Potomac Street N., police said.

There is no suspect description at this time, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
