Equipment Dripping Water On Food At Arlington Eatery: Inspection
Condenser in the walk-in refrigerator at one Arlington restaurant was dripping water onto food, according to a recent inspection report.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Public Health Department inspectors found health code violations at 11 food establishments they reported visiting Sept. 2-3.
Bozzelli's Italian Deli at 2600 Crystal Drive #R1 had 12 violations, including not having a certified food protection manager on duty during all hours of operation, according to the inspection report.
In addition, the inspector observed a condenser in the walk-in refrigerator dripping water onto food.

"Proper maintenance of equipment to manufacturer specifications helps ensure that it will continue to operate as designed," the report said. "Failure to properly maintain equipment could lead to violations of the associated requirements of the Code that place the health of the consumer at risk."
