Police Investigate Armed Carjacking In Arlington's Ballston Area

A driver was carjacked early Sunday morning in the Ballston area of Arlington when three suspects brandished a gun and then stole his car.

ARLINGTON, VA — A male victim was carjacked early Sunday morning in the Ballston area of Arlington when three suspects approached his vehicle, brandished a gun and then demanded the keys to the car, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

At about 3:14 a.m. on Sunday, police were dispatched to the 4100 block of N. Henderson Road for the report of an armed robbery. When they arrived, police officers determined that the victim was in his parked vehicle when the suspects approached him, according to police.

After stealing his car keys at gunpoint, the suspects fled the scene in the stolen vehicle. The victim’s vehicle is described as a white Chrysler with Virginia license plate VTH1366, police said.

No injuries were reported in the carjacking.

The three suspects are described as Black males wearing black puffy jackets and black pants, according to police.
